The Middle School sector of John Francis EC consists of students in grades 6-8, along with talented educators across various content areas. Our teachers dedicate their time to facilitating rigorous, college-preparatory daily instruction as they curate lessons that align with Common Core standards, district-wide expectations, and global change. STEM programming and Collegeboard Pre-AP strategies are regularly incorporated into our MS curriculum supported by digital platforms such as DiscoveryEd, Edulastic, Illustrative Mathematics, Comm Lit, and much more. We are also proud to provide unique course offerings such as Theatre Arts and Latin, which are available to all MS students with customized curriculum from our content specialists. Experiential learning is deeply embedded in our community as we offer international and domestic field trip opportunities to our students. We provide opportunities for the global exploration of Central America and European countries, Broadway shows and workshops within the Theater District of NYC, visits to Smithsonian museums,  Kennedy Center partnerships, culinary, and sustainability check-ins with our FreshFarm partners, and much more.
