Enrollment & Withdrawals At John Francis Education Campus
Enrollment for SY 2025/26
Enrollment/Re-Enrollment for the new school year is OPEN. All families, whether you are new to John Francis Education Campus or returning to school, you must complete the enrollment process annually. By enrolling your child early, it allows our administration and staff time to plan class assignments and planning for the upcoming school year.
DCPS has provided an electronic option to complete enrollment for school year 2025/26.

The electronic enrollment packet is in English, Spanish, French, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Amharic. The online enrollment packet can be found at https://enrolldcps.dc.gov/node/71

The Universal Health and Dental forms do not need to be submitted at time of enrollment. However, they will need to be turned in prior to the start of school.

Who can enroll at John Francis Education Campus?
All students who attended one of the following feeder schools below can enroll at Hardy Middle School, as well as all students who live within John Francis Education Campus’s assigned boundaries. To look up your DCPS in-boundary assigned school click HERE.

For any students who reside in D.C. but do not attend a JFEC feeder school or live outside the feeder boundaries, can apply to JFEC through the My School D.C. lottery. To learn more and apply through the lottery click HERE.
Withdrawals
Students can only be withdrawn from a DCPS school upon request of the parent/guardian who enrolled the student. Visit the Welcome Center in person or email Lexus Wigfall, JFEC Registrar, lexus.wigfall@k12.dc.gov, to request the withdrawal form.
